At Angie's first AA meeting she said she was new and wasn't sure she belonged there. A 78-year-old man leaned in and told her, "Honey, you're in the right place. Virgins don't take pregnancy tests."
Everyone laughed. She didn't, and then she got it. People who don't have a problem don't go to a meeting to find out whether they do.
That line became her book, and the book became this show: real conversations about drinking, recovery, and the moment you finally stop lying to yourself. Angie brings over a decade of sobriety. Dave brings the newer, rawer view, and asks the questions people are afraid to ask out loud.
